The world of science and technology is evolving at a remarkable pace. To meet society’s ever-changing needs and further strengthen their business foundations, companies must also continue to evolve. With this in mind, we established ME Group with Micro Engineering, Inc. at its core. Our aim is to diversify our business beyond the development and sale of semiconductor manufacturing equipment—an area in which Micro Engineering has built extensive expertise—and expand into fields such as healthcare, automotive, aviation, and space.

In 2023, ARATA Co., Ltd., which develops and sells medical devices, joined the Group. We value the willingness to continually take on challenges in new technological fields, rather than being content with the status quo. We will continue to refine our technologies and broaden our business portfolio while building a management structure that can respond flexibly to changes in society.

ME Group also aspires to become a conglomerate that maximizes synergies across the Group.In 2026, we will establish ME System LLC, bringing a technology company into the Group.We will promote cross-selling and cross-manufacturing among Micro Engineering, ARATA, ME System, and future Group companies, bringing together the strengths of each business. Through these efforts, we will create value that no single company could achieve alone and contribute to enriching people’s lives and culture while addressing societal challenges.
